Last year and leading into this year I worked over at the BBC in White City, West London. Last week I started a new project based at the BBC’s New Broadcasting House in central London where the BBC is in the process of moving to and today we had our induction.
Being in that induction where we were introduced to the new building and vision behind it I felt really inspired and pleased to be back. BBC is a lovely place to work and when I was asked if I wanted to come back and work on a project with some of the people from our old Olympics team, there was no question about it.
I’ve mentioned a number of times how I don’t believe in freelancing in the traditional sense of coming in, doing your deliverables and then leave before the project is delivered. Returning to work with a team I know and on a product I already have some background and context around, it’s the ideal situation and I’m really excited about it.
