Day 227 | London, Copenhagen, Lund – Home sweet home
I’ve lived abroad for more than a third of my life and where to call home, particularly in the future, is something that every now and then occupies a lot of my mind.

I’ve lived abroad for more than a third of my life and where to call home, particularly in the future, is something that every now and then occupies a lot of my mind.

It’s no secret that I Iike to be busy and when things are slightly crazy. Juggling multiple things at the same time is when I thrive the most. And days that go down as some of the most intense or extreme are also some of my best and when I

At 11am we set off to Excel to watch the Men’s boxing finals. Just after 2am on Monday morning I got back after having seen Team GB win our last gold and watched a spectacular closing ceremony in the Olympic Park.

When I woke up this morning it was with a slight soar head from yesterday’s drinks and with a new found feeling. I’m officially on holiday and the next few days in particular are going to be spectacular.

Today I finished my contract in its full time format and it felt quite emotional. It’s been a few very hard working months but with a great team and on a project that I’m really proud of.

The last few months have felt like one long run with too many and too frequent sprints, but the finish line is now so close that I can feel it. Tomorrow is my last day full time in the office and soon I’ll be on holiday.

Earlier this year I made the decision that I was going to do something about my ideas. From the 1st of January I started working through them and in early February my co-founder was on board and we had decided on what ideas to proceed with.

Search for to do list apps in any app store and you won’t be short on results. It’s one of the most common types of apps and it’s no surprise. In one form or another most of us keep a to do list.

I look with admiration at people who can remain patient in any situation. I’m yet to master this skill and to make matters worse, I’m not the best at hiding my impatience either, not when coupled with frustration. It’s something I’m working on.

If you really deeply care about something, you will do it. You will do it without needing a list or a system or a reminder. No, your brain will not feel cluttered by the burden of having to remember it. Vivek Haldar in his post Productivity porn Image source: www.flickr.com/photos/ivanclow/4260762246

After the Opening Ceremony last week D and I stayed up all night talking. We talked about all things big and small until eventually it was light outside. One of the subjects that came up was work and I said that sometimes I reckon I care a bit too much.
