I’m sat writing this looking out over the sun setting over our plane and JFK. It’s been an incredible trip and I’ve met more people and made more new friends than I had imagined. It’s with a little sadness that I return home but at the same time it’s with

It’s the last full day in New York and it has been a really good day with breakfast over on the Upper West side at my friend’s flat followed by a visit to General Assembly and lunch with Rob from Twilio.

Today I spent a couple of hours writing up my notes and the day to day posts for SXSW. As I’m sure you’d noticed they were lagging behind.

As you might have noticed from the lack of daily updates SXSW has been rather intense and with very little time to do any work. But it’s been great. Now, however, it’s time to head off to New York.

Together with day three this day topped my SXSW visit. It was the last day but the events I went to were brilliant, inspiring and informative and as on all of the other days, in between and after the talks, the day was filled with great conversations with amazing people.

So, day three was brilliant and the parties were great. Day four was not, at least not the day itself. The lack of sleep was getting to me and so was the drinking and it meant that that my attention span was a bit compromised and I felt very uncomfortable.
