Day 347 | Sticking to my priorities

If it’s one thing I’ll admit to this year, it’s not giving byflock the focus and priority that I said I would. Other work related things have continuously had to come first, but I’m finally in a position where that doesn’t have to be the case.

Day 344 | Week 49 summary

This was the week where I shared that from starting solo to finding a co-founder, I’m now back as a solo founder. It’s a good weight to get off my chest, being able to talk about it, and with that out in the open it’s easier to start to round

Day 343 | Getting it off my chest

For a while now I’ve struggled a little with what to write. Going from co-founder to founder has obviously meant me thinking quite hard about a few things and naturally those topics are what have come to the surface, but I haven’t been able to share them. Until now.

Day 340 | Building dreams

Today I had lunch with an old colleague. We were discussing the future and how we would ideally like things to be with work and life outside of work. I told my old colleague about byflock and the reaction was really positive. In fact I think I could see a

Day 336 | Hello December

I woke up this morning a little later than usual. D had just come back from his run and instead of the usual playlist I could hear Christmas music coming out of the speakers. An absolutely lovely way to start the day.

Day 333 | Flexibility is a two way thing

I write a lot about flexibility and finding a work setup that means that life is balanced and makes you as happy and productive as can be. But it’s not just about the setup working for me. It’s also about the companies that I work with.

Day 329 | Setting plans in action

There are a few key things I want to change and accomplish over the next few years. As a woman in my late early thirties who adores kids there are only so many years left until little feet hopefully will fill our house. And that makes making the most of

Why you should write every day

You probably think you have nothing to write about but once you start it gets hard to stop. Honestly. Writing is an incredibly important skill at all levels. By writing every day you reflect on things in a different and clearer way and you become better at expressing yourself. If you haven’t tried writing every day, give it a try for 30 days to begin with. I did it every day of 2012. Seth Godin has done it for years and swears by it.
